Of this work I like the combination of different visual elements: the landscape, with the small tree in front which creates depth, and the two small portraits, plus the texts. The atmosphere of this specific landscape together with the expressions on the faces in the two small photos hint at a personal story, this impression is reinforced by the texts. There is just enough revealed to get me interested, but what the whole story is remains a mystery, I can only guess at it; in other words: this work forces me to use my phantasy, that's why I am attracted by it.
